The Shakespeare is a lively pub that often has karaoke and disco nights on the weekend. The pub also has a big screen TV with Sky for all major sporting events and it is open late on weekends.

Bar staff more than friendly enough for such a busy venue, doorstaff on the other hand are basically neanderthals. If you wish to be spoken to like an adult i would suggest going elsewhere. Unfortunately these people seem to have been scraped from the bottom of the same barrel as most of Coventrys door "security". Plenty of other places to go in the city, do not subject yourself to this nonsense.
