After going here on a Monday night (which may I add is reknown for a student night) I was left appauled by the security gueards, behaviour and actions. Going out for my friends birthday I took my cousin along, who may I add is 21, the bouncer took the id and claimed it was not her. Obviously because it was her she answered all questions about herself, they still would not let her in, then I asked if we could have the id back and we go elsewhere, to my surprise I was spoken to by this man in a totally inappropriate, uneccesary and completely offensive way as he said 'You may be a reatrd but your not getting it back end of, its going to the police station now leave!' The word retard is a very offensive and hurtful word to say to somebody when you dont know there medical background. He then showed his college who was younger and a lot nicer man and he said to let us in as it was obviously her, this power crazy secruity guard refused. He has now sent the id to the police (so he says but we have rang and they have no recollection of it). My advise to everyone is stay aware from Rosie Malones as the bouncer/manager is a inadequate, incompetent, rude, manipulative, offensive, narrowminded man who does not deserve a job or a pub as his custopmer service skills and people skills are totally and utterly not up to scratch!!!!
