Terrible Terrible Service and the Rudest Manager I have ever dealt with in my life! They gave me the wrong order, wouldn't replace it, manager told me he doesn't care if I never buy from them again, told me that his name was "none of my business" and that his name was "Mickey Mouse" and hung up the phone on my face twice! I am never ever going there again .. not their branch or any other Chicken Cottage branch! Details Below:
Today, I stopped by the branch and ordered 6pc chicken, thighs and breasts only, and 10 pc spicy wings and large fries. I paid for the order and took it home. When I arrived home, I found that I was given the wrong order, and received 4 drumsticks and 2 extremely tiny chicken breasts pieces. Both chicken breast pieces together were smaller than one drumstick.
I called the branch back and informed them of the situation and asking if they can send over the correct order. The employee gave the phone to the "manager" who asked further about the situation. When I told him about the situation, he said that it was a mistake by the employee and next time they will take care. I asked him to send us the correct order and he said that I would have to return back to the branch to replace the chicken. When I informed him that I had no car and that I had to pay 11 GB for the cab ride home, and if they could please just deliver me the correct order since they've delivered to my home before, he said no and that I would have to be charged for the correct order. I told him that I should not pay for them to fix the order since it was their mistake, and he rudely replied that there is nothing he can do for me and next time they won't make the same mistake. I told him, that I will not buy from Chicken Cottage again if they do not correct the order and he said "I don't care!" I asked him if he was the manager and he told me that he was the manager, so I asked if he was the owner and he said that he was the owner of Chicken Cottage and the owner of over 10 branches of Chicken Cottage. I asked for his name and he, the manager, said "It is none of your business, my name is Mickey Mouse!" He then hung up the phone in my face.
I called back and no one answered. After a few more tries, the female employee answered the phone and I told her that because of this manager and his rudeness, I will never buy from Chicken Cottage again and that I will go to all review websites and let the public know about the terrible service. She said "okay, thank you."
A few minutes later, the manager called again and tried to recover the situation (to avoid the negative reviews), and put all the blame on the employee for making the wrong order. When I told him that I was not upset because of the order, but rather because of his response and attitude and for telling me that his name was "Mickey Mouse" and that it was unacceptable, he said "It is none of your business what my name is, I am Mr. Chicken Cottage, why don't you tell me your name?!?!" When I said that he was being very inappropriate he said "It seems that we will not go anywhere with this, I will not hear you any longer, Cheers" and he hung up AGAIN in my face.
